Rog Zephyrus g16 (2024) crashes under load with no notice

Hi there, I recently bought this new Zephyrus g16, but always have the same issue when trying to play almost any game. I have had the computer for 2 days, and any time the gpu is under any type of load, the whole computer just turns itself off, Fans, Lights, everything. If I hold the power button, It will reboot as if I had shut it down.

This is my second computer of this exact type that has done this. The first one I bought around 2 weeks ago, and it had the same issue, so I sent it back. Within 10 min of setting this one up, installing a game and loading it, It has the same issue.

I know little about computers, I'm not sure what could be causing the problem.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Currently, we haven't received similar feedback for this model. I just wanted to confirm if you're using the display drivers verified by ASUS.
If the device hasn't been returned yet, could you please recall the time when the crash occurred? Please use the AsLogDumpTool to capture system information, and we will have our technical team further investigate the issue. Thank you!

To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.

Hey Anbby, I have not returned it yet. I have not or tampered with the display drivers at all since I unboxed the computer about two weeks ago or so, so I assume they would be the correct drivers? Though I will make sure. In addition, I'm not sure what the LogDumpTool is, could you explain how to use it?

Here are the AsLogDumpTool Instructions for your reference:

  1. After extracting the tool, run X64\AsLogDumpTool2.exe.
  2. A log file in .wim format will be generated in the same folder.

Thank you!

Thank you for the reply Anbby, I appreciate it, but my problem is that I can't find the AsLogDumpTool to use it in the first place. When I look for it on google, It brings be back to this forum only, and any links I find are broken. I tried looking on my computer for it as well, but also found nothing. Could you tell me where to find this tool?
