ROG Zephyrus G14 - Shift key stopped working

hi, 

my shift key randomly stopped working today, and it has not been a year since purchase. i have tried to put in for rma, but the site sends me to best buy and best buy sent me back to asus website. 

please advise. thank you.

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers in the Device Manager, and performing an EC reset by powering off the device, disconnecting all external devices and the power supply, pressing and holding the power button for 40 seconds, then reconnecting the power and turning it back on to see if the issue improves? Thank you.
