I have newest BIOS and this problem occured 3rd time already. Im playing Assasins creed shadows and after some time screen goes black, no sound and then after 10-15 seconds fans start to spin at the highest possible speed. Only way out is to hold power button. After that starting the laptop is hard, takes time. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you for your feedback. May I confirm if you are currently using BIOS 306 and the ASUS-verified AMD graphics driver version V32.0.12045.1008?
Additionally, are you connecting any external devices (such as a dock or monitor) while using the laptop? Thank you.

No, I'm currently on bios 307 which was quickly pulled out from asus website when they realized they made a mistake. Amd driver seems correct. No external devices. I was able to play the game without on performance mode (not turbo) without chaning anything in tha game settings. The only instability of the whole system is connected to this one game, I did not notice it in other games but I play in short series (like 30 minutes max).

Please try rolling back the BIOS to version V306 and test if the issue improves. Thank you.

It's not possible to do that.

Please use EZ Flash to roll back to version V306 and test if the issue improves. Thank you.

Same thing on today's bios 308. Black screen after few minutes of playing games. This device is flawed. Returning it. DO NOT recommend buying it in current state for anyone.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. If your device is still within the return period, we recommend contacting your retailer to ensure your rights.
If the return period has passed, since you mentioned the issue only occurs in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, have you tried running the game in Turbo mode to see if the issue persists? Also, could you check the in-game temperature while playing? Thank you.
