My ROG Strix Scar 17 (2021) G733QSA says it supports 360Hz at 1080p, however I only have the 60hz option in "Advanced display settings" for the built-in monitor. However I can select a 16:9 resolution (1600x900) and then I get the option for either 60hz or 360hz. I've tried this in games (Overwatch) as well as UFO browser test and I do indeed get 360hz when at 1600x900, but for some reason at other resolutions I can only select 60hz! I have all the latest drivers as per MyAsus as well as Nvidia (for 3080) and AMD (iGpu).
Also, the 3ms overdrive option only appears on 1600x900, but not 1920x1080! What gives?? Anyone have any advice? It is extremely annoying to game in 1600x900 with the black bars all around the outside and everything is so tiny.
Also I have tried allowing the screen to stretch to fill the display, but then only 60hz is allowable. Ugh
Hi @arrsquared ,
I'd like to confirm if your BIOS has been updated to the latest version, which is 331. Additionally, you mentioned that your Nvidia drivers have been updated to the latest version. Could you please clarify if this is the Asus-certified latest version, V184.108.40.2068?
Could you also share screenshots of your settings so that we can further assist you? Thank you.
Yes I am on BIOS 331. I was on Asus-certified version V220.127.116.118 but I upgraded to latest to be able to play Baldur's Gate 3. Here are the screenshots:
Also, which "settings" do you need to see?
