Hello,
I'm having an issue with the W key. For a while the key would continuously input after the key was released, but now I'm having the opposite issue - the key frequently does not respond to input when pressed or held. Sometimes it works right away, sometimes pressing harder helps, sometimes pressing keys around it "shakes it loose," but it's getting to the point where none of these little tricks work anymore.
I wanted to see about replacing the key itself before it completely dies - does anyone know if this is possible without replacing the entire keyboard, and if so where to find the correct part?
Thank you in advance

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers in Device Manager, and performing an EC reset by shutting down the laptop, removing all external devices and power, and holding the power button for 40 seconds? Afterward, reconnect the power and power on to see if the issue improves?
If the issue persists, due to the key malfunction, the entire keyboard module may need to be replaced. If you require repairs, we recommend contacting your local service center for further RMA assistance. Thank you for your reference.

Thank you for your reply. I tried performing the Windows and BIOS updates, reinstalling the drivers, and performing the EC reset, but unfortunately it did not resolve the issue

I also had the same issue happen, after years of use the wires eventually wore down under the button and this means the entire keyboard needs to be replaced, you can bring it to a repair center and they will do it either under warranty or out of pocket, you can also attempt to do it yourself but it is a very complicated process which may result in your laptops destruction rendering it completely useless, your best bet is a repair center.
