I've had issues with my USB C ports for a while now while using a hub so I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue. I currently see at least one person has posted with a similar issue.
I use a type c dock to connect a mouse, mic, and stream deck, and ethernet to my laptop however when I start playing a game after around 10 minutes my mouse starts to hang and my mic stops picking up anything. There are no USB disconnect or reconnect sounds when this starts happening. If I connect the mouse and mic to a USB A port I do not have any of the issues.
Unlike the other user with similar issues my keyboard and built in mouse continue to work.
So far I have made sure all drivers are up to date, windows is up to date, disabled power saving for all USB hub devices, and I've even tried reinstalling windows completely.

Hi @DJTurnTable ,
Please try disabling LAN power saving test if the issue improves. Thank you.

For anyone else that has this issue. I sent my unit in for RMA and they found no issues. They reinstalled windows and updated bios/drivers and said they tried using 3rd party docks and never encountered the issue when stress testing. Of course these are all things that have already been tried so unfortunately once I receive it back I'll be sending it right back again to see if I get a more competent technician.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. The issue may be related to the external devices. Once you receive your laptop, please provide the information mentioned in the private message so that we can proceed with further verification. Thank you.

Same devices and new devices tried on another device work fine under the same scenarios. I'll keep an eye out for the private message though.

Additionally, based on feedback from other users, versions of Nvidia drivers newer than 560.70 are reported to cause freezing issues.
We recommend using DDU to completely remove the display drivers and then test with the Asus-validated driver version to see if it improves the situation. Thank you!
