ROG Strix G513QY Time set to 12 AM every start up

Every time I start up my laptop after previously shutting it down completely, the time on my laptop says 12 am. I have to manually sync the time. It's not a complete dealbreaker but is definitely a nuisance. I have not noticed anything logged in the Event Viewer that would indicate why this is happening. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, what was the fix for it?
