Recently, my ASUS ROG Strix G16 laptop experienced a serious motherboard failure due to what appears to be an internal burnout issue. The laptop, which was functioning normally before the incident, and one day i shut down and it refused to turn power back on. Upon inspection by a certified technician, it was confirmed that the motherboard had been burnt.
This incident was unexpected, especially given that the ROG Strix G16 is a premium gaming laptop designed for high performance and reliability. The device was well-maintained, used under standard conditions, and never subjected to physical or liquid damage. The sudden failure raises concerns about component durability and thermal management in this model.
I have contacted ASUS customer support regarding the issue and still not received any kind of reply and I am in urgent need of my laptop.

Hey man I have the same issue rn , like you all know it's the companys fault and it wasnt cheap to get this beast , like tmr I am going to the service center but ofc would you guys change the motherboard and repair with cost on your end or would I be getting ripped off.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart regarding my ASUS ROG Strix laptop, which suddenly stopped working. I’ve attached photos for reference. After some research, I noticed this seems to be a recurring issue other users have also experienced.
This laptop means a lot to me — it’s not just a device, it’s the heart of my work. I’m a video editor and graphic designer, and I spent months researching before finally choosing the ROG Strix because of its power, design, and the trust I’ve always had in ASUS products. Unfortunately, it hasn’t even been two years since I purchased it, and I’m devastated that such an investment would fail so suddenly.
Even though my warranty may be up, I’m sincerely hoping ASUS can assist in some way — whether through a repair, replacement, or partial support. I’ve treated this device with great care, and it’s been essential to my creative work and livelihood.
Please let me know if there’s any possibility of support or goodwill assistance in this case. I truly believe in the ASUS brand, and I’d love to continue that relationship with a positive resolution.
