I've already seen same problem here, but looks like without solution. So possibly anybody already managed to solve this issue.
So what the problem is:
I have connected devices: headset (HyperX), mouse (Logitech) and KB (Steelseries) + monitor, but here no problem. So in random moments it could turned off headset (the most common case), kb or mouse. The worst case when it turned off ALL devices + laptop keyboard .. only touchpad was still alive. So everything still work (film, game) but I can't even press "save" button without kb.
After restart - everything starts work again.
What I've tried to do:
- updated bios to the latest version (doesn't helped)
- try to disable turning off devices like in this video (possibly helped a bit .. but still not fixed)
Just want to understand if it could be fixed by my own or it's hardware bug and I should contact service center.

I’m experiencing exactly the same issue with the rog g16 .I’ve tried everything reinstalling windows ,updating bios (even updating the bios behaves very strange as it shuts down then you have force restart the laptop otherwise it won’t work, it may be due to updating through “my asus” app and not manually but still it shouldn’t behave like that). I think the problem is more hardware related than software , I doubt that there’s a fix for these issues . But maybe asus technicians can come up with a solution. Hopefully!

Found next advice "you should disable USB Selective Suspend"
for win 10
for win 11 (same thing as in video)
BUT .. in addition I moved to "Human interface devices" there also was my mouse and kb and there also was same power options .. so I turned off there too. ATM 3rd hour without turn offs (same game). Possibly it's a solution.
Haven't found headphones, so it was dropped once .. but with working mouse and kb it's not a big deal to fix it 🙂
Anyway .. fingers crossed 🙂

Hi @immediate ,
I’m glad you found a solution. If you are using an Ethernet connection, please also make sure to disable any power-saving settings.
I hope this information is helpful. Thank you!

The problem still persists even after doing what @immediate has suggested. I’ve changed 2 usb docks … I’ll try getting an usb-c cable to connect the usb dock… I don’t how what else I can do to fix this annoying problem.

in result:
looks like problem in my hub.
First I turned off hub and tried to connect my old bt headphones and it works without problems.
after it I connected my headphones receiver directly to laptop and moved mouse to the hub .. already a week without any troubles. Hope it would be the fix!

Hi @immediate ,
Don’t be so enthusiastic a week is nothing. I had even 2 weeks without the issue occurring then reappeared out of nothing . I guess if it goes for a month without the problem occurring you can be sure that you fixed it but I doubt it although that’s not impossible. Now they blame it on the nvidia driver despite that if you google this problem with the asus motherboards you will see that there are more than few cases with this problem that targets not just the asus laptops but the also the Asus’ desktop motherboard. I got this problem since I bought the laptop, makes me believe that is not fixable as there are cases that laptops had been sent to RMA and asus said they didn’t find any problems . I’m sorry to say but for me the only fix is that in future I’ll avoid buying asus products.
