Rog Strix G16 - FPS keeps shooting high to low quickly

I bought this ROG Strix G16 a few months back and within the second month of owning it, my game started to drop frames down to 5-10 fps and shoot back up to around 300+ fps, which causes my game to glitch. I went to Best Buy's Geek Squad and they said it was something with how the GPU's heating is messing with the CPU's, since they share the same fan or something. They suggested me to limit my fps to 165 or around 200, but it's no help. Switching to Turbo mode or Ultimate GPU mode does nothing. So does anyone have any solutions? This happens with every game.

Have you updated the BIOS to the latest version and tested with the ASUS-validated display driver? How are the CPU and GPU temperatures performing during gameplay?
Also, are you using the original charger while playing games?
