Rog Strix g16 2023 CPU too hot at 100º

Hi, since some time ago, I don't know when it started, I see CPU is getting too hot. I installed HW monitor and see some cores are hitting 100º and it's hard to go below 85º when an external monitor is connected.

I searched here and google and undervolted -80mv on bios and also lowered PL1 and PL2 on ASUS Armoury create. It solved a bit the problem but only when using the laptop alone without external monitors and with battery.

If I plug the power adapter and connect an usb-c external monitor CPU gets very hot also when using less than 10%

Could you please share the current BIOS version you are using and the settings for the Armoury Crate GPU/fan mode to help clarify the issue further? 

Additionally, does stuttering or any other problems occur when the temperature is too high? Please use MyASUS to check if the fan operation is functioning normally. Thank you!

Hi, I do not feel any stuttering while working, only high temperatures, also in moments with low cpu load. I do not use intensive cpu software or games. It's for software developement so hard to feel stuttering .

Fan operation seems normal. I clean them each few months. MyAsus says it's OK:

With this settings and when working on battery mode, temeratures lowered a lot 50º-60º, but when with Full power adapter (300W) or the Asus rog USB-C 100W power adapter, CPU gets very hot

When the laptop is connected to the power supply, the motherboard temperature will rise during the charging process, which is normal. If possible, please try running a stress testing software to check for any stuttering or other abnormalities. Additionally, please record a log using HWinfo before starting the stress test and share it with us for further confirmation. Thank you for your cooperation!

I also noticed with HW info that also temperatures rise some times without loading and working with battery, no matter what power mode selected on armoury.

Hi, I just installed OCCT for stress test the laptop. Very strange behaviour.

When running stress CPU+MEM in performance mode for some minutes, CPU is always at 100%, frequencies are normally below 3Ghz. TEMPERATURE IS ALWAYS ABOUT 75º so OK.

When stopping stress test or doing nothing, CPU use goes to 5-10%, frequencies increase a lot to 4-5Ghz and temperatures start raising up to 100º.
