Hello! Laptop asus rug strix g513rm - hq171, bought in 2022, I will try to describe the problem:
1. occasionally the sound card makes a terrible sound and the whole gameplay or video ‘’freezes‘’ for 1-2 seconds.
2. every switching on of the laptop is a lottery - it can switch on from the first time, or it can change the logo ‘ROG’ and black screen for up to an hour without stopping and only after that boots windows as if nothing had happened.
3. An attempt to do a clean installation of Windows almost turned into a fiasco, because the laptop just randomly rebooted between 30 and 70 percent of the installation, and so happened with Win10 and Win11, with different hard drives(ssd) and RAM replacement. In one of the many attempts, the installation was successful and everything is currently as per point 1 and 2.
4. AIDA stress test and memory test pass.
all manipulations were done with and without power supply, with and without usb devices.

I would like to confirm whether you have updated the BIOS to the latest version 327 and tested the ASUS-verified audio and display drivers.
Additionally, you mentioned that you replaced the SSD and RAM—could you please share the brand and specifications of the components you installed? Thank you!

Hello!
BIOS ver. 327.
SSDs : Micron_2450_MTFDKBA512TFK_V5MA010 (stock), ADATA SX8200 1Tb and Samsung EVO 970 512 Gb.
RAM : SAMSUNG M425 SODIMM DDR5 2x8GB 4800 MHz (stock) and Kingston SO-DIMM DDR5 8Gb 4800MHz (I tried different combinations of these three including each one separately in each of the slots).
The drivers for audio and video are the latest available on the manufacturer's website.
With all options the result during clean install was the same, just at some random moment the install went past 70% and I was back to the problem from point 1 and 2.
Thank you!

Thank you for the information. Based on your description, this issue may be related to hardware problems. Have you tried testing the laptop with only one SSD and one RAM (in different slots)? If the issue persists with this configuration, we recommend sending your laptop to a local service center for further hardware inspection to identify the problem. Thank you.
