ROG STRIX Customisable Hotkeys Not showing up

Whenever I pick Customisable Hotkeys in the Armoury Crate, this redirects to updates. But, everything is fully updated in my armory crate so I don't know how to solve this. Could someone help me with this?Customisable Hotkey.jpg

Could you please let us know what model of laptop you are using? 
Please try removing ASUS System Control Interface v3, uninstalling Armoury Crate using the uninstall tool, and then reinstalling ASUS System Control Interface v3 and Armoury Crate to see if there is any improvement? Thank you.

My model is ROG Strix G814JI, and after doing as suggested I am still encountering the same problem. I have used the uninstall tool and then reinstalled asus system control interface v3 and Armoury Crate, and the issue still persists.

Is this issue something that recently occurred? 
Have you attempted to remove all external devices and power sources while the laptop is powered off, then perform an EC reset by holding down the power button for 40 seconds, or reinstall the system to test? Thank you.

Hi @Anbby_ROG , Thank you for your response and I hope you have a good holiday, I am a bit apprehensive about doing any sort of resets as this is also my work laptop. I do not want to corrupt or lose any data. Is it safe to do so?

Regarding EC reset, performing an EC reset can restore the hardware in your device to its default state without affecting your data.

Hello, I have done the EC reset and then the update for armourty crate and it still is not popping up.

I am also facing the same issue, my system is G614JI and I believe the issue showed up after a recent "Armoury Crate" update. The reason I say "Armoury Crate" could be the issue is I did a full reset via Cloud recovery earllier last week and the "Customise Hotkey" function was working fine, then applied all the updates via My Asus and Armoury Crate, and the said function stopped working exactly as shown in the screenshot posted by this post's author above.

Please assist in enabling the log recording function in Armoury Crate and then try setting the hotkey again. Afterwards, please provide the log file and the following information via private message. I will forward it to the relevant department for further investigation. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

  • Serial Number:
  • BIOS Version:
  • Windows Build Version(Settings > System > About):
  • Armoury Crate > Settings > About > Service Version > Check (Copy all content):

【Here is the file path for the log file for your reference】 
In Armoury Crate "Settings" and check "About" page, If clicking App Diagnostics "Record Log", the Privacy Policy Statement will pop out. Once user agreed statement, the Armoury Crate will start to collect problem log  and you can click "Generate log data" to generate the log file with encrypted (ASUS log file).
