I've had a gaming laptop ROG Strix model G553Z for more than a year and since yesterday its screen goes black upon booting. The keyboard lights up, it wouls even make the windows 11 startup sound, the screen will turn on but only displays black. Not sure if coincidental, but a few days ago I got a notification from the windows update center to perform a critical update and did so.
I was able to plug it to a TV via HDMI cable and it will show up the ROG logo but loses signal upon starting windows. I could to access the BIOS and start the windows boot manager from there. I try the diagnostic tools, remove recent updates, and even reinstall windows to no avail.
Before that I also tried the the hard reset method described in other posts, and all contents of the Asus support videos.
Is there anything else that can be done here?

Hi @emanuel01 ,
Please try booting into Safe Mode to see if the issue is caused by a driver. If the screen still does not display in Safe Mode, we recommend taking the laptop to a local service center for further hardware diagnostics to identify the problem. Thank you.
