ROG G701VI Cant register my laptop to armoury crate.

Himbal

So I have bought a used Asus Rog G701VI laptop around 3 years ago. I always wondered what are the M1, M2 ,... , M5 keys are for. Found out they are macro keys. So I was trying to set them up in armoury crate, because I read you need it for that. But the problem is that I cant find anywhere to set them up. So I thought it is maybe because I  need to register my laptop. But I can not register it, because it seas it is already registered. So what do I do here?

Hi @Himbal ,

I would like to confirm if you have installed ASUS ROG MacroKeys. If so, please follow the steps below to configure it. Thank you

  1. Open the ROG Gaming Center software on your ASUS laptop.
  2. Navigate to the “Hotkeys” or “Keyboard” section.
  3. Select the M1, M2, or M3 hotkey you want to customize.
  4. Choose the desired action or command to assign to the hotkey.
  5. Save the changes made and exit the software.

Hi @Himbal,

Regarding the G701VI, the applicable control software is Gaming Center. You can configure the M1-M5 macro keys using Gaming Center. Please note that the product serial number registration does not affect the functionality. The above information is provided for your reference, thank you.

I downloaded the ROG gaming center, but I cant find how to set up macro keys. How can I find that?
