This was not an issue until I reinstalled graphics drivers (both Intel and Nvidia) with uninstalling them with DDU and installing the drivers on Asus product website for an unrelated issue. After I did that, colors started to look washed out on battery, as soon as I plug the PC to a power outlet the issue is gone. I tried reverting Asus System Control Interface v3, it is on 3.1.41 version and the issue is still around. My GameVision mode is on Default so it is not that either. Any ideas?

I think I just solved the problem. The new windows update tampered with a display setting.
Right click from the home screen and click on display settings. Click on the tiny arrow beside the brightness slider to reveal the 'Change brightness based on content' settings. Turn it off and see if that works for you. That solved the problem here.

I'm also experiencing the same issue on my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402RJ (2022). It just started yesterday, and I'm suspecting it's the windows update (24H2) I did in the early hours of yesterday. Did you recently update your windows as well?

I can't really say recently, but it definitely started happening after the update. Just I'm not sure if it was right after, since at that time I was mostly using my laptop while plugged in.

This was really it. I don't know why they enabled this without prompting.
