Hi,

I have been using my G14 2023 4080 since 14/03 and everytime I need to power it on these things tend to happen:

1. Enters into BIOS -  resolved by updating BIOS.

2. Black screen with no fan - white light to the left from mid power light is on but the boot light to the right is off. I have to battery reset every time and this is a hassle since it resets the time and the history of my activities which I have to start all over again.

I have also reinstalled windows 2x and it is not fair to be stressed with a device at this price point.

#2 is the main issue at the moment and this doesnt happen with my ACER predator triton of 2 years.

I have called ASUS CS and he sent me TS steps which I already did and he suggested to have an exchange from Currys since it is within 30 days from purchase. I am thinking it's a bad RAM as the open 16GB slot is not soldered and perhaps they put a bad one to make the 32GB.

Please advise before I make an exchange.

Hi,

I've replaced the unit with a new one but the problem is still the same. 
I have updated everything on the new unit.

The problem is when the laptops dies of battery, then I plug it the battery light turns orange.

I press the power button the power light to the left turn solid white but the activity light to the right doesnt turn on (which the manual says indicates accessing the drive when on), there is fan during all this but the screen is black even on external monitors with dGpu and iGpu ports.

Again, I have to battery reset the unit to successfully boot it up.

How can 2 brand new units have the same problem? I need the 4080 GPU.
