Unfortunately, I am very sad about ASUS Hungary's warranty service.
I really like the ASUS brand, but I think that due to my current disappointment, I will unfortunately have to forget and will never buy ASUS products again, even though I use motherboards, video cards and other notebooks.
In 2023, I received an ASUS ROG FLOW Z13 computer from my child, which he bought for me in the EU, as a present for my birthday.
As written on several forums and here, my keyboard started to stop working.
My equipment has a warranty until 14.07.2024, which I checked on their website, and I also officially registered the equipment on the ASUS website.
However, we cannot find the machine's purchase invoice anywhere, and ASUS does not want to carry out the warranty repair, referring to this.
I simply don't understand, since as a private individual there is no law or regulation that obliges me to keep the account.
I am sure that ASUS is the 21st century. century, in this digital world, he knows everything about my machine based on the serial number.
ASUS customer service recommended that we visit the store where the equipment was purchased and ask for a copy of the invoice. Unfortunately, this is not so easy in Hungary, especially not in the way that my child no longer clearly remembers which store he bought it from.
I am disappointed and sad. This is how a world-renowned large company can push customers.
I still have the option of ordering a keyboard from EBay for $200.

"Please submit the service request again and attach a picture of the invoice proving the purchase.
Unfortunately, in the absence of an invoice, we are unable to accept the warranty service request."
After that, I also spoke to ASUS customer service on the phone, but they were completely dismissive due to the lack of an invoice.
