My laptop suddenly turned off. After switching it on back again, it is stuck in tablet mode. The taskbar at the bottom is hidden, and when it shows it is quite tall. See screenshot.

Please try using DDU to remove the display drivers and then reinstall the ASUS-validated NVIDIA graphics driver version V32.0.15.5597 and AMD graphics driver version V32.0.11038.3 to check if the issue improves. Additionally, while the device is powered off, please remove all external devices and the power source, then press and hold the power button for 40 seconds to perform an EC reset. After that, reconnect the power and turn the device back on to check if the issue improves. Thank you.

To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.

I tried all of these but nothing worked. I even restarted several times. The only thing that worked by coincidence is: I plugged an HDMI cable in the laptop for an external monitor and it came back. Then when I removed the HDMI cable it came back to its normal self!

Thanks for your help.
