Hello. My name is Ömer. I am from Turkey. I bought Asus an Rog strix g18 from Turkey 1.5 years ago.
When the power electric cable moves, the electric current is cut. And the current comes again. (constantly) Even a slight movement of the power cable would cause the current to cut in and out. Because of this, I took the device to an unofficial repair technician (in Morocco) who opened the device in front of me to check whether sufficient power was reaching the input socket. Afterward, he simply closed the device back up. That was all that happened.
When I returned to Turkey, I sent the device to an authorized service center. They claimed that the device had been opened and that the motherboard was scratched, which voided the warranty outright. They refused to assist me in any way. To make matters worse, they demanded approximately **72,000 Turkish Lira (TRY) for the repair. I did bought the device from 90,000 Turkish lira (TRY). (Moreover, the device is still fully functional; the only issue is the unstable power current.)
This is nothing short of ustomer exploitation. I have been severely wronged and want to warn everyone about this situation. I urgently request assistance from ASUS's genuine authorities.
