Hi, this my first time posting there.
I'm having a problem with my microphone.
I have an Headphone (Audio-Technica M30x), it doesn't have a built-in mic. When I connect it on my laptop I can't use the built-in microphone from the laptop. I want to use the built-in mic from the laptop while using the headphone.
I'm also having a problem to download the Realtek Audio Control ( (which for me is one of the reasons of this problem), I've tried to download the Driver thru ASUS Support (ROG Strix SCAR II - Support) and tried to install the app (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9p2b8mcsvpln?rtc=1&hl=pt-BR&gl=BR), and it just gives an error message (on the store) "Try again later Code: 0x80073CF1"
I need to fix this problem and I know it's possible because I have friends with the same laptop that have the Realtek Audio Driver and they can use the micrphone while using headphone without built-in mic.
Sorry for any confusion with my english since I'm not native speaker.

Did you try checking the input device settings to see if that helps?
Also, does the built-in microphone work normally when no headphones are connected? Thank you!

Yes, I checked the input settings and the mic does work when the headphones is not connected.

Please try removing and reinstalling the Realtek audio driver version V6.0.1.8639 and then reinstall Realtek Audio Console from the Microsoft Store to see if the issue improves. Additionally, please check your Windows sound settings and test if there are any improvements. Thank you.

I tried (again) removing and reinstalling the driver with the file you provided and still not possible to install the realtek console from the Microsoft store. The input and output configuration is set correctly.
"If it is not selected, click Choose an input device and select Built-in microphone."
RE: There's no option saying "Built-in microphone", but the one that's selected is the Realtek one "Microphone Realtek(R) Audio"
I really don't think it's possible to fix this. Seems to be a problem with my own laptop, I just don't know why.
Like I said before the microphone itself works. It just don't work when I connect my headphone. I tested using a different headphone (with built-in mic) and it works, but I want to use my ATH (which doesn't have a built-in mic) and use the laptop's built-in mic at the same time.

Not sure if this issue is caused by the system or other software. Have you tried testing it in Safe Mode? Thank you!
