(Rant) ROG Notebooks Aren't Reliable At All

I got a Zephyrus G15 in 2023 April. Within 3 months of purchase, screen blacked out and I needed to use an external display to get anything done. Sent it for repair and got it back.

Less than a year later, all USB-C ports and the HDMI port didn't work, charging brick didn't work, and speakers Soon it'll be the 3rd time I'm sending it for repair in less than 1.5 years.

First time I've used a warranty so often. This laptop has made me spend more time fixing it than actually doing work. Never going to buy from ASUS again. This experience has made me lose all hope and trust in this brand.

I got a Zephyrus G15 in 2023 April. Within 3 months of purchase, screen blacked out and I needed to use an external display to get anything done. Sent it for repair and got it back.

Less than a year later, all USB-C ports and the HDMI port didn't work, charging brick didn't work, and speakers were crackling. Sent it for repair. Charging brick was replaced, motherboard was replaced, and all data was wiped.

Now, less than a month after getting it back, I've realised that all 4 corners of the screen are discoloured. Maybe it was my fault, sure, but I've done nothing different. I only bring it to school for work. Soon it'll be the 3rd time I'm sending it for repair in less than 1.5 years.
