I recently bought a 16 GB RAM to expand the default memory to 32 GB.
I purchased a Kingston Fury DDR5 4800MT/s CL38-38-38 1.1V PnP RAM, model KF548S38IB-16. The problem is that when I installed it, the laptop stayed on a black screen. I thought the memory was defective, so I removed the default one, and everything worked perfectly. It seems that when both memories are installed, it doesn't get past the black screen. How can I fix it?

Hi @johnnyrv ,
Based on your description, it is likely that the issue is related to memory compatibility. It's uncertain whether the specifications of your original and new RAM modules are fully compatible. Mismatched or different brand RAM modules can sometimes cause compatibility issues.
Additionally, please try swapping the positions of the two RAM sticks and test again. After installing them, while the laptop is powered off, disconnect all external devices and the power source, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Reconnect the power source and turn on the laptop to test. The above information is provided for your reference. Thank you.
