I just got a G14 a few days ago with a 4060 card and boy has it been frustrating.
A week earlier I got a Lenovo 9 pro with a 4050 card and it was disastrous. The G14 is barely any better.
The results are atrocious and I have no words.
Total War Warhammer 3: FIVE FPS. FIVE. ON THE CAMPAIGN MAP. I can't even select my legendary lord.

Baldur's Gate 3, medium graphics setting: 9 FPS. It's so laggy damage floating text shows on screen a full second before animation starts. Rotating the camera is painful.
3dBenchmark score: 1507 (and I think that's very generous given the above gaming performance)
These are games I could play on my old desktop which has a 770, (almost 10 year old card). Obviously at 10 fps or lower, it's unplayable.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You mentioned that the related drivers have been updated to the latest version. Could you confirm whether the BIOS has also been updated to the latest version, 306, and if you have tested using the ASUS-verified NVIDIA Graphic Driver Version V32.0.15.5597?
Since the link you provided cannot be accessed, may I ask if you are using an external monitor or if you have replaced/upgraded the SSD or RAM?
Please try setting the GPU to Ultimate Mode and the fan mode to Turbo Mode in Armoury Crate while gaming. This may help identify any improvements. Thank you.

thanks for the suggestions. The BIOS was updated. The solution actually was I had the wrong charger. My mistake! With the right charger I am getting expected performance (60fps)
That does make me wonder though, is there a battery mode that can still supply enough juice for gaming?

When the laptop is not connected to a power source, the system will automatically reduce performance to optimize battery life and protect the battery's longevity. This design is intended to extend battery life and reduce battery wear, allowing you to use your laptop for a longer time without being plugged in.
If you need higher performance, we recommend using the laptop while it is connected to a power source. This will not only provide optimal performance but also help maintain the health of the battery. Thank you.
