Nvidia Advanced Optimus Freezes when enable

I have a laptop compatible with Nvidia Advanced Optimus (Asus ROG Strix G18 G81JIR), but it doesn't work, every time I try to use it, the screen freezes and you can't do anything, even Shift+Ctrl+Win+B doesn't work, the screen remains frozen like this (NVIDIA GPU only), in Automatic Select mode, I heard that it changes automatically when you're in games, it doesn't work, it stays on the iGPU.

I found the solution, for me it works well now, look at the picture, use DDU to uninstall the driver, in safe mode, after installing this driver from the official Nvidia website

Hi @Nat123ヅ ,

Have you updated the BIOS to the latest version 317 and tested using the ASUS-validated NVIDIA display driver version V31.0.15.4624?

Please switch the [GPU Power Saving - Graphics Card Mode] in Armoury Crate to [Standard].Then In NVIDIA Control Panel, please reach [Manage Display mode] in [3D Settings], and apply [Automatic Select] in [Display Mode] for Dynamic Display Switch enable. Test to see if there is any improvement.

Notice: When Armoury Crate application [GPU Power Saving] is under [Eco Mode] or [Ultimate] mode, it is unable to launch [Automatic Select] under Manage Display Mode or launch NVIDIA Control Panel.

This information is provided for your reference.

Having this issue on a brand new Zephyrus G16 with all latest updates. Did you fix it? Is it a bug with new Nvidia drivers?
