My new 16 GB 2400 MHz RAM doesn't boot on my Tuf fx505DT

I just bought some RAM based in the specification of my laptop (2400 MHz DDR4) , after I've opened it to replace my odd 8GB RAM (x2) with a 16 GB (x2) one I found a odd surprise. The actual RAM module is 3200 Mhz. The laptop doesn't boot with the new RAM modules instead I hear a small fan noise for a few seconds which stops and starts again.

I've tried decoupling the main battery and the bios battery, left it for half an hour to make sure it doesn't have any charge, booted up my laptop where I left it plugged and running for the laptop to "train" with the new RAM but after another 30 minutes nothing.

Please kindly check whether your laptop's BIOS is updated to the latest version, and try the following steps to see if the issue improves. Thank you:

  • Single RAM module test: Please install only one 16GB RAM module at a time and try swapping it between different memory slots (Slot A/B) to check if the issue is related to a specific slot or module.
  • Restore BIOS default settings: Please try restoring the BIOS to its default settings to avoid any potential issues caused by previous configurations.
To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.

⚠️ DM are for collecting personal information only. For technical assistance, please post your issue in the discussion thread so everyone can help and share insights! Thank you for your understanding! 🙂

My BIOS was updated last time on 2021 with version 316 which matches the installed bios version. https://www.asus.com/supportonly/fx505dt/helpdesk_bios/

About your other suggestions I tried everything, trying to boot with just 1 RAM, resetting my BIOs from the BIOS menu, pulling out the battery. Leaving it half an hour with the hopes that it needs to train, but nothing happened.
