Hi,
I have an ASUS TUF A15 (FA507NUR) that I bought back in 2024 with the following specs:
AMD Ryzen™ 7 7435HS , 15.6'', Full HD, IPS, 144Hz, 16GB DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050 6GB GDDR6
The issue is that it constantly reboots while nothing is opened (except for a Chrome tab at most). I checked the Event viewer and noticed a lot of messages such as:
The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\Video3
CMDre 00000024 00003ffc ffffffff 00000007 ffffffff
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
After the restart, I noticed the next event log:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x0000000000000003, 0xffff8709fd7a80a0, 0xffffd30bf95879f0, 0xffff870a002878a0). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\111125-16593-01.dmp. Report Id: 55cfd3d7-e9c9-4047-9a67-ee10b9569e7c.
I will check the dump, however, I'm far from technical so I might get lost in the details. Is there any clue on what would be the first steps to start my investigation?

Please confirm whether the graphics driver you are using was downloaded and installed from our website or from the graphics card manufacturer's website. If it was downloaded from the manufacturer's website, we recommend uninstalling it and then installing the driver provided by us to check if the situation improves.

Hi Falcon, sorry for the late reply. I checked my records and found that I installed the graphics driver from the asus website, executable name as below:
Graphic_DCH_ROG_NVIDIA_B_V32.0.15.5597_38443.exe
As further info, I noticed that the driver's current version is 32.0.15.8157 (driver date: 10/9/2025). Any clue what would be a next troubleshooting step?
