Laptop Model - FX507ZM.
As the subject line says forced Microsoft update has pushed my laptop in reboot loop. Few weeks back update installed itself and WIFI stopped working. It updated Intel driver as well. But it caused issue with my wifi with error code 10. So I uninstalled the update, as it was working fine for few days. But again update forced itself and my laptop is stuck in reboot laptop.
I tried all repair methods, using ASUS WIN RE to test, at least my SSD and RAM are working fine. I tried RESET option as well, but neither it able to download from cloud nor from local install. Giving me error that issue with restart.
I have some important files, so can't do a clean reset right now. Any one faced similar issue ? What I can i do.
I am in process of downloading Windows ISO to create a bootable USB and try to repair the windows, but I don't trust windows any more.
Once i succeed I want to uninstall windows and install either Ubuntu 22.04 or Ubuntu 24.04.
Did any one has installed Ubuntu previously ? Do asus provides drivers for linux ? I am okay if there are minor issues. I use Ubuntu my desktop, so not newbie here.
