Memory clockspeed issues with lastest Nvidia drivers on my Strix 15 G533QR

Hey I've got a weird issue with my laptop, for a bit now i've realised that my fps would drop pretty often and everytime it did Armoury Crate would show that the Mem frequency went from 7000Mhz to 810Mhz, I decided to ddu my drivers, armoury crate then installed them automatically and it would work as usual, problem is they are quite old and when I updated them, the problem appeared instantly. Has anyone had this occur and found a solution ?
