Hey fellow gamers,
I've been experiencing some frustrating issues while playing Forza Horizon 5 and GTA 5 on my ASUS Gaming F15 (2022) laptop with an Intel Evo processor. Despite having a smooth experience on my 240Hz gaming monitor running Windows 11 with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, these two games seem to be causing lagging and overheating problems on my laptop.
While I'm able to play other games smoothly on my laptop, Forza Horizon 5 and GTA 5 seem to tax the system excessively. The issues I'm encountering include:
I love the The ASUS laptop specially for gaming but now from last one month games frequently freeze or experience significant frame rate drops, making them almost unplayable at times. It's incredibly frustrating, especially during intense moments. Alongside the lag, I notice that my laptop gets excessively hot while running these games. The fans kick into high gear, but it doesn't seem to be enough to prevent the laptop from overheating.
I'm reaching out to this community for any suggestions or advice you might have to help me overcome these issues. Have any of you encountered similar problems with Forza Horizon 5 and GTA 5 on ASUS Gaming F15 (2022) laptops with Intel Evo processors? If so, were you able to find a solution?
I'm open to any recommendations, whether they involve tweaking in-game settings, making adjustments to system settings, or even considering hardware upgrades if necessary. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Hi @jessicashepherd ,
May I confirm with you the current version of your BIOS and dGPU driver ?
Since the recommended system configuration for Forza Horizon 5 is 16GB RAM, may I also confirm if your current RAM capacity is 16GB? Additionally, could you please check the available disk space on your hard drive?
When playing Forza Horizon 5 and GTA 5, have you tried closing background programs to free up more RAM?
Should you have any further questions or require any additional assistance, please don't hesitate to let us know.Thank you
