Issues with fan control and/or Armory Crate on ASUS TUF DASH 15 FX516PR Support

I've had this laptop for a while. For some reason (I forgot what) I decided to uninstall the armory crate. The Fn+f5 combination for fan control stopped working. I tried reinstalling the armory crate and it doesn't work.

In particular, if I try the "Armoury Crate & Aura Creator Installer" it runs for 5-10 seconds and says installation complete (opens up 2 windows, one where it says "Installing Armory Crate/AURA Creator" with no progress moving and one saying "Installation Complete", where if I click the OK button, it closes both windows). I also tried "Armoury Crate Full Installation Package", but not 100% sure what to select on there. I tried what seemed correct and it stays stuck and "Unzipping Installation Package". I ran both as administrator.

I did run the "Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool" beforehand too, but that didn't help. I also tried reinstalling the ASUS System Control Interface, but again no help.

It is recommend first using the official Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool to completely remove the old version, then restart your computer. 
After that, download and install the latest ASUS System Control Interface v3 driver from our website, restart again, and use the Armoury Crate Full Installation Package to perform a complete installation as a system administrator (make sure to select Armoury Crate Service and ASUS Framework Service).

Hello, I already did almost exactly this and it didn't work. The full installation package got stuck on "Unzipping Installation Package".

However, the other issue is I don't see these "Armoury Crate Service" and "ASUS Framework Service" in the list of options. I had tried "ROG/TUF Gaming/TX Laptop"
