I'm not sure about what CPU temperatures are considered normal when playing a game on this laptop (Zephyrus G16) but it reaches 85-95C on average, is this bad for the CPU (and maybe other components too)? I've had the laptop for 4 months, it was reaching at maximum 80C when I first bought it. Could it be due to the dust buildup inside the laptop? I get a lot of dust in my room so this could be a potential reason. Also, the CPU usage and frequency is kind of unstable ingame, nothing is really reaching a stable percentage.
If it is indeed a dust buildup, should I try to clean it myself or should I send it at a repair service? I have absolutely no experience with disassembling laptops at all.

Hi @Rogikel ,
I would like to confirm with you whether this temperature range (85-95) is observed when the laptop is in an idle state or during gaming. If these temperatures are reached during gaming, it may be due to increased CPU temperatures resulting from the higher performance demands of the games. You can refer to the provided link for more information on CPU temperatures.
On the other hand, if such high temperatures occur during idle states, we recommend taking the laptop to a nearby service center for further examination. The information above is provided for your reference.

CPU temperatures in the range of 85-95°C while gaming can be considered high, and it's advisable to take some steps to address this issue. Cleaning a laptop involves a delicate process, especially if you are not experienced with disassembling devices. If you're uncomfortable with the process, consider seeking professional assistance.

12th and 13th Gen CPUs under load in the 85-95°C temperature range is perfectly normal. There is no cause for alarm.

Hello, thanks for replying. Yes, the temperature is only reaching such range while gaming. According to the link you provided, my CPU is safe, as I never saw it reach 100C as of now, so thank you for informing me.
