Is my cpu/gpu fan rpm too high?

ArthurYorgan

my strix scar g733zx-ll009w was tsuttering in almost every game so I looked at the cpu temps and they were 92-96 degrees Celcius on high graphics games like RDR2. I looked if there were any issues with the fans and the armoury crate software says that I got 5200/5600 cpu/gpu RPM on 65 degrees celsius. is it normal and if it is not, is there any fixes?

Hi @ArthurYorgan ,

Since the stuttering in games may be related to settings, driver versions, or hardware issues, have you updated your BIOS to the latest version 324 and tested using the ASUS-verified NVIDIA Graphic Driver Version V31.0.15.1640 and Intel Graphic Driver Version V31.0.101.4502?

Please try setting the GPU in Armoury Crate to Ultimate or Standard mode during gaming and setting the fan mode to Turbo. This will help to test if there is any improvement.

Additionally, regarding the fans, please use MyASUS to check if the fans are operating normally. Thank you.
