Dear ASUS Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding performance issues I have been experiencing with my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503RM gaming laptop.
Currently, I am encountering limitations in achieving maximum performance during gameplay, primarily due to the insufficient power delivery from the included 200W power adapter. Despite enabling the 80% battery health charging feature, I am noticing significant battery drainage while playing, and the GPU fails to reach its maximum potential of 120W dynamic boost. Additionally, the CPU seems to be constrained, with its power consumption not exceeding 35W and often remaining stuck in the range of 20W-30W during Turbo Boost.
To address these concerns, I am considering upgrading to a higher wattage power adapter, specifically a 280W model. However, before proceeding with this upgrade, I would like to inquire about the compatibility of the 280W power adapter with my motherboard to ensure a seamless integration and avoid any potential issues.
Additionally, I would appreciate any insights or recommendations from your team on resolving the performance limitations I am facing. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how upgrading to a higher wattage power adapter might impact GPU and CPU performance, as well as its potential to mitigate battery drainage during gameplay.
Your guidance and assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this inquiry, and I look forward to your prompt response.

Your processor in Turbo mode should not exceed 55-60 watts, so I believe that the 200-watt power supply provided by Asus is suitable for this hardware.

Hi @Maniya2002 ,
I would like to confirm if you have encountered any stuttering or delays when running high-performance tasks?
Laptops are typically equipped with BIOS settings tailored to the hardware characteristics and requirements. The included adapter is designed precisely according to the laptop's power consumption needs and charging capabilities to ensure optimal performance and safety. We still recommend using the adapter specifications provided by the original manufacturer to ensure safety in use. The above information is provided for your reference.
