I recently found out that ASUS voided my warranty after I had to replace their liquid metal (LM) application issues. On top of that, there’s now a significant coil whine when using the laptop on battery. I’ve tried reinstalling Windows and adjusting power settings, but nothing has worked. The laptop is unusable for 3D work in its current state.
Honestly, I’m at a loss with ASUS support at this point. Their response has been incredibly frustrating.

We have reviewed the RMA records and the video you provided. The noise in the video does not seem to match the usual coil whine phenomenon.
Since we only received your RMA information now and it appears that you have already received the device back, we would like to confirm further with you. If you adjust the GPU and fan settings in Armoury Crate, does the same issue occur? Could you record a video of the current usage so we can investigate further? Thank you.
