I had the laptop for less than 5 months out of which it was in 2 service centers for almost a month

I have an Asus Zephyrus Duo 16 2022 RTX 3080 Ti with me which is less than 5 months old. I had submitted the laptop for almost a month in 2 different Asus Authorised Service Center through the Asus Official Channels. Till now the issues hasn't been resolved or not been addressed. The first time, I had performed a reset and some of the issues was resolved. The second time, some the softwares were failing to update and install, mouse pad stopped working, the screen pad stopped working, etc and many more minor and major issues started popping up. I submitted the laptop for a repair and recieved the laptop with more and increased problems such as the screen pad organizer went missing, Asus Armoury Crate started crashing and the major issue that the laptop battery capacity suddenly dropped from 90000mWh to around 80000mWh after increasing the capacity to approximately 270000. This happened within the service centre repair time frame. As the issues was not resolved and new other issues appeared, I contacted Asus again and sent my laptop for a third repair after which I noticed minor cosmetic damages on the laptop adapter and the laptop is still crashing even while I play Microsoft Solitaire a game that isn't any GPU or CPU intensive. The laptop was full of dust and not clean and had residues and blue color things when it was been returned to me. Also the battery capacity issue has not been addressed till now. I'm fed up with the laptop. I bought it for the SECOND SCREEN and EXTRA VRAM AND GREAT GPU  as I thought it would increase my productivity in coding and in AL/ML tasks. But the exact opposite happened. The laptop is a premium one and still the issues has not been addressed or resolved. I have all the battery reports and screen recordings of the issues.

May I ask if you are using Windows 10 or 11

Windows 11

I have a fix but I've only tested it on Windows 10, perhaps it could be the same for Windows 11 but I am unsure, I'm sure you could search for the Windows 11 variants if they vary at all, but here is the fix that worked for me.

Bro, my Laptop just freeze out of random and gets stuck. It doesn't turn off. The issue is either with the motherboard or with the underlying softwares. Also many other issues started popping up after the first service. I don't have any more time to waste in this laptop.

This should take you no less than 20 minutes to achieve, if you don't want to fix your laptop I understand, best of luck!

I have clearly understood that you haven't read my post in it's entirety. Do you think I don't want to fix my laptop? LOL. I believe if you are aware of the fix then Asus would be aware as well. Do you think they are total idiots? Also my laptop is under warranty and I don't want to void it by tweaking or messing with any parameters. I have to say one thing, please read the post entirely before responding to it. Do you think the so called" FIX" you have shared would fix the scratches and dents on the laptop after getting it from service centre? Do you think your "FIX" would repair the battery damages or errors? If you think "YES" kudos to you. If you just want to get views, just post some useful and valuable advice or information.

Sir I am trying to help with your software issues, if you've received damage from a repair center I cannot help with that as I am not an employee of Asus. What I can tell you is that my Fix will completely fix your crashing issues you claim to be having 100% as I have tested them on two separate SSDs and both have had zero crashes since. The reason Asus haven't been able to figure out the fix for crashes is because it's not an Asus Hardware or Software issue it's a Microsoft Windows issue interfering with Asus Software and Hardware which causes the crash, I have posted the necessary and useful information that is the fix which you believe will void your warranty, that's on you and totally understandable, don't apply my fix and continue to suffer the constant crashes you've experienced and described in your post, that's on you.

However, this has been an issue with Asus for years now and I've been struggling with crashes for over 2 years, Asus never fixed the solution for me, I fixed it all by myself about 6 months ago, it took me another 6 months to replicate the fix here on another SSD and since I have applied the fix I have had zero crashes since yesterday, the other SSD has had zero crashes in 6 months.

If you are under warranty I would file another claim and send it back, I doubt they are going to replace your shell unless you can provide proof the damages were not there before you sent your device for repair and even then it's a long shot. Even if you do send it out and get it replaced it will not fix your Crashing issue, only my fix will do that for you.

You can submit the device under warranty for a battery swap which they will test and if it is deemed you are in need of a new battery the warranty should cover replacement, another way to get a battery replacement is to prove the service center was the causation of your batteries degradation but it appears you have increased the capacity to 270,000 yourself if I'm not mistaken, that would be solely on you.

There is no reason to belittle folks trying to help you, the only way you could void your warranty is and I quote "Warranty stands void for theft, abuse, misuse, neglect; vandalism, or environmental conditions (fire, floods, rust, corrosion, sand, dirt, windstorm, hail, earthquake, or exposure to weather conditions)." As far as my understanding goes, all parameters would be changed back on a Windows reset if you were really that worried anyways. You can always seek clarification from a certified rep if you are afraid of voiding a warranty.

Seeing as how you are claiming that the service center has abused/damaged your device while in service, you would have to prove that to ensure your device remains under warranty, this could be done with dated photo's or videos from the day your pristine undamaged device was packaged and sent out coupled with dated pictures or videos from the day it returned in the damaged condition including the battery issue you are claiming the service center caused.

Best wishes and happy holidays.

Luckily I have taken images of my device and a video of the laptop from all sides and angles before giving it for repair. I have came across many incidents where Asus Repair Centers have damaged the product and without rectifying or addressing the issue and then they just ships back the product. But what made you think that I have increased the capacity of the battery by 270000? LOL. This happened while the laptop was in Asus Service Center's Custody. Even I have the proof for the same. I have battery reports taken from which it can been clearly understood that the battery degradation happened while in the custody of Asus. And until and unless the warranty on my laptop is void, I will not tweak any parameters. Asus can use these kind of things and deny the warranty. Also I'm going to file a complaint in the consumer court to address this issue if it is not resolved with a replacement as I have lost many potential clients and opportunities. I haven't received any call within 72 hrs from Asus Higher Team as promised. It has been past 48 hrs already.
