FPS Drops: After purchasing the laptop, it initially worked perfectly. However, I began experiencing significant FPS drops, with performance dropping from 130 FPS to 40 FPS.
System Crashes: Randomly, Windows 11 stops working. The display freezes on whatever was on the screen at the time, and both the mouse and keyboard become unresponsive. After a while, the system restarts automatically and temporarily functions normally.
I took the laptop to a nearby ASUS service center, where they identified a motherboard issue and replaced it. However, after the repair, I noticed that the right-side fan was vibrating. I reported this, and the service center took the laptop back, returning it after almost 12 days, claiming that the vibration was normal. I questioned this because the other fan did not exhibit similar vibration.
I then escalated the issue to ASUS support. After a month, the laptop was returned with the same explanation that the vibration was normal, even though the vibration increased when moving the laptop. In total, the laptop was with the service center for over 40 days, plus an additional 12 days for a previous display issue. In total, my laptop has been with the service center for over 52 days.
Despite these extensive service periods, the issues remain unresolved. Now that the warranty has expired, I am being informed that I must pay for further repairs. Given that I have booked multiple service appointments for the same problem and the laptop was in the service center for over 52 days, I believe I should not be responsible for additional repair charges.
