Hi guys,
A couple of months ago, I bought a Rog Strix G16 G614JZ, and still coulnd't find a way to activate illuminated numpad on touchpad. As in Asus the documentation, I should be able to activate it by pressing at the top right corner of the touchpad but that's not working. I tried on-screen keyboard to be able to active the numpad, that also didn't work. My all apps (such as, armoury crate or auro creater) and drivers are updated and installed. I tried reinstall them by a clear uninstall process, as well. Those are not the solutions. I also wrote this out to the customer service through MyAsus app, and they told me the same solutions, then asked me to post the PC to them with a service enquiry, but i didn't accept.
I also found that some models of any versions of strix g16 might not have that function at all just as the lack of function of RGB Logo on the back side of the laptop. If that's the reason, i won't worry at all. But i'm really desperate why i can't figure it out.

After some dms with @Anbby_ROG , we figured that out, my product has no illuminated numpad on touchpad.
Because there is a lack of information about this issue on the Official site of Asus, I want for whom have the same problem to know that before reinstalling drivers or looking for a solution in your device by assembling it, you just need to reach an Asus customer service agent to check your serial number to validate whether your product has it or not. This must be your first move. Otherwise, you may damage your own device.

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers related to the touchpad to see if it helps? You can refer to the instructions provided at the following link:

Yes as i told you, above, I tried reinstalling all the related drivers especially touchpad, also i always keep my all apps as daily updated.

I actually wonder that can my laptop be one of those versions which has no illuminated numpad on touchpad, even though the customer service and the documents coming from Asus tell the opposite?
