How do you turn off automatic switch between graphic cards on low battery / when starting up laptop

Hello everyone, here's my conundrum:

My laptop battery is practically dead at the moment (I think, 0%, no signs of charging). Whenever I start my laptop anew I of course start with turning ON power cord. My laptop then automatically switches ON itself because it had zero power (including the battery).

That's ok for me, I'm not putting it on sleep or hibernate or anything these days, nor plan on buying next battery.
What annoys me though is that it starts every time in Optimus setting and not Dedicated. I think that's how it's supposed to work and is a way to make sure that if your laptop is on low battery that next time you start it it won't immediately eat your battery supply.
BUT since I'm no longer using laptop outside of being plugged all the time, this is annoying.

Is there a way for me to turn off automatic change from Dedicated to Optimus each time I start my 0% battery laptop? I don't want to buy a battery just because of this and don't plan on taking it anywhere anyway.

My product seems to be no longer on ASUS product list, so I'm posting it below, it's:
Zephyrus S GX701GXR

Thanks for reading.

Hi @Riper ,

I would like to confirm the issue you are facing: When the battery is completely drained and you connect the power source to start the device, you need to reset the date and time. Is that correct?

I am not quite sure which specific part you are referring to when you mention "Dedicated." Could you please provide more details so that we can further investigate your issue? Thank you.

What? Noo, I don't need to reset date and time.
Each time I start the laptop after it automatically starts after turning ON plug/power strip it is connected to, it changes it's last used GPU setting from Dedicated (meaning nVidia GPU only) to Optimus (meaning nVidia + Intel). And I'd like it to stop doing that, there is no reason for me to do this, especially that some games I play go bananas over Optimus and work only when I play the game solely with the option to use nVidia GPU.

I'd really love my laptop to stop switching automatically that setting.

Hi @Riper ,

Thank you for your information. Regarding the selection of the graphics card, it will indeed be adjusted according to the battery saving mechanism. Have you set [Manage Display mode] in the NVIDIA Control Panel to "NVIDIA GPU only" to test it? Thank you

No, and I don't think I have found that option - perhaps you could make a snippet of the option for me to check?

Hi @Riper ,

Here are the relevant icon references for your consideration. Please test to see if they are effective.
However, as mentioned earlier, due to the battery being completely drained, the power-saving mechanism may switch the dGPU mode to Optimus during startup to ensure smooth operation. We appreciate your understanding.
