I've got GL731GT-H7192T with died ssd (smart error) 

Bought a new Pm9a1 1tb and can't even go to bios, until extract this ssd

Trying update bios 306 -> 308

No results(

I know, that this drive is 4.0x4, but it must to have backward compatibility, why not? 

Ssd works fine with pc mb (b150 pro gaming, pci-e 3.0x2)

 

Kingston rbu-sns8154p3/256gj3 (3.0x2) also lets me come into bios menu

Samsung 980 (no pro, pci-e 3.0) has solved my problem

Laptop works fine
