Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX with Radeon Graphics
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU
RAM: 64 GB
Storage: 4 TB SSD
BIOS Version: 336 (Oct 2025)
My system was stable until a recent Windows Update. Since then, I have been plagued by 0x113 VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR crashes and the screen blacking out when watching youtube videos or when you play games like Ace Combat 7. When restarting the laptop after hard shutdown by pressing the power button for a long time, it sometimes doesn't even turn on the screen at all (no ROG logo on start up).
Even after uninstalling the recent Windows updates (kb5074109 and kb5078127) the behavior persists
I have tried putting the Power Management Mode: Set to "Prefer maximum performance" in the Nvidia GPU Management settings, installed the latest drivers for the AMD and Nvidia graphics adapters from the ASUS driver website, turned off the fast boot option in windows, turned off variable refresh rate in windows, but with no luck.
I am currently using the turbo mode and the GPU Performance on Ultimate on the Armoury Crate.
Could I please get some assistance on this?
Thank you.
Regards

We recommend trying the following: boot into Safe Mode, use DDU to remove the graphics driver, then restart the laptop. After that, install the graphics driver provided on our official website and check whether the issue improves.
