G731G new HDD - Help please

I'm new to upgrading my laptop, and I found that I have an empty HDD slot to upgrade my Strix G731G (Specifically, the G731GU-EV111T). The HDD caddy is the 13N1-8HM0501 2. Strix G731G spec was up to 1TB. Which HDD should I buy to make the most of the 1TB space, and still run the laptop smoothly?

Should I buy a 1TB HDD? Or should I buy a HDD with greater storage (2TB, 4TB...)? 

 I already have the connector cable, and the 4x screws

Thanks. Bought the SATA3 FIRE CUDA 1TB5 SSH 8G  /SEAGATE /ST1000LX015, and installed it alright. 

Really helpful. In the future, I shoud also ask how to mount and what to do after. All sorted now anyway.
