So recently, My ROG STRIX g614jv has been experiencing some issues. When I tried to launch Valorant today, my frames had massive amounts of stuttering going back and forth between 300 and 50 frames. I thought it might be driver-related so I downloaded the latest drivers but nothing changed. I then thought it might be game-related so I launched CSGO and the same thing happened with massive fps drops out of nowhere as my fps fluctuated from 400 to 80 frames and the same thing happened with other games such as Minecraft. What should I try to do to fix this issue as this issue has come out of nowhere?

Hi @Asuraslayer245 ,
I would like to confirm with you whether your BIOS has been updated to the latest version 317.
Regarding the NVIDIA Graphic Driver, could you please test the ASUS-verified version V31.0.15.3645?
Additionally, please ensure that you have set it to Turbo mode in Armoury Crate and have the GPU configured to Ultimate mode to see if there is any improvement.
If you have any other concerns, please feel free to let us know. Thank you.

Hello @Anbby_ROG
Thank you for the response. Currently from the MYASUS software, I am running the latest version of bios 317 and both turbo mode and ultimate mode have been set with no differences in the frame stutters as all games still go from 200-400 fps and suddenly to 40 fps and back to 200-400. Downloading the Nvidia driver did not solve my issue either. I have also been on tech support with someone from my ASUS who tried to do some changes in the bios to reset to factory, but that did not help.

Hello
However, I have kept it open for the past 2 months that I have owned this laptop with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Im just curious why this is happening now.
