My laptop model is ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 G532LWS-HF079. After several Windows reinstalls and experimenting with drivers and software, I finally figured out the cause of my laptop restarting right after entering sleep mode: Armoury Crate. Once I uninstalled the app, my laptop started going to sleep and waking up as expected, without restarting.
I believe a recent update to Armoury Crate is responsible for this issue.
