Fans at high RPMs when shutting down or hibernating

This has been plaguing me for the past year after I re pasted my laptop. Everything the computer decides to go into hibernation or shuts down, the fans blare up to such a high RPM and it stays like that until I force it off or when the battery is low. I have tried resetting the PC, the BIOS, nothing changes. What other suggestions do y'all have that could help fix it?

Could you please share your laptop model and the current BIOS version you're using? Did the fan issue start occurring after you replaced the thermal paste? We recommend using MyASUS to check the fan's performance and see if there are any error messages for reference. Thank you!
