Situation: When the screen is displayed in a large white area, the screen is turned off. During that situation the devices are still running and I need to press the Power button to reactivate the screen.

System information:

  • Processor: Intel Ultra 9 185H
  • GPU:
    • Intel Arc Graphics, Driver version: 32.0.101.6314
    • RTX 4090 Laptop, Driver version: 32.0.15.7283

 

What I have done:

  1. Use MyAsus in WinRe to reset laptop,
  2. Try different verison of graphic drivers
    1. Intel Graphic driver: 32.0.101.6734,6651,6647,6559,6458,6449,6325
    2. GeForce Game Ready Driver: 572.83,70,60, 560.94
  3. Turn off "Panel Self Refresh"
  4. Perform CMOS clear (EC reset) 
  5. Reset the display settings
  6. Restore BIOS settings
  7. Update BIOS, Windows packages, and drivers

May I ask if you have tried using DDU to uninstall the graphics drivers and then tested with the ASUS-validated NVIDIA graphics driver, version V32.0.15.6607, to see if the issue improves?

If the issue still persists, could you please record a video showing the problem and provide the following additional information so we can further investigate? Thank you.

 

  • BIOS version:
  • GPU and Fan Mode settings in Armoury Crate:
  • Are there any external monitors or other devices connected?
  • Any upgrades or changes to SSD/RAM?
To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.
