Do you regret buying a gaming laptop?

As a ROG user, love my Zephyrus lappy, but… not gonna lie when I say I do have that buyer’s remorse syndrome. Can’t help but feel that maybe a more portable choice (Steam Deck or ROG Ally) would have been better suited for my gaming needs.

What do you guys think?

I think a Mac Mini + a good monitor is a better option for gaming than a tightly packed laptop to fry eggs on.

I know I sure do knowing mine only lasted 2.5yrs, Should have just built custom gaming desktop for the price I paid for my laptop. which is what I am doing now building a new custom desktop with no Asus products inside.
