Disable Turbo Boost in the bios.

Asus please add in laptops the ability to disable Turbo Boost in the bios or armory crate. Please allow this to reduce theASUS Gaming Notebooks temperature and noise by 20+ degrees. So that I don't do it through the windows registry. I have an Asus Tuf Gaming a15 2023.

Hi @MentalRay ,

Based on your description, you can adjust to the silent mode through Armory Crate, which will limit the CPU and GPU power, keeping the fans at a near-silent noise level during use. Alternatively, you can use the manual mode to customize the settings according to your preferences.

The information above is provided for your reference. Thank you.

I've done a lot of tests and tried all the settings in armory create. Armory create is practically useless software - turbobust is always active in all modes, during games the temperature is always around 85-90 degrees. It's a completely different matter if I turn off the turbo booster using Windows - the temperature at the peak is no higher than 75 degrees and the noise level is low. The fact is that when the turbo boost is turned on, the processor frequency grows to 4600 megahertz, and when turned off, it does not exceed 3100.

Hi @MentalRay ,

Thank you for providing the relevant information.
May I confirm with you how you disabled Turbo Boost?
Additionally, to expedite resolving this issue, could you please assist by providing separate screenshots of the relevant data when Turbo Boost is both enabled and disabled under silent mode? This will further help us to investigate.
Thank you for your cooperation.

This is included in Windows power management, you need to turn off aggressive mode, but in order for this function to appear, you need to correct one entry in the Windows registry. It is safe and does not harm the equipment in any way.

Here is a random video for an example, pay attention to the CPU temperature - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otCYx18oxlY
