Cracked laptop screen wont boot in to bios

I have a gaming laptop but the screen is cracked, so i use a external monitor instead. When i try to boot in to bios or recovery inviorment my laptop wont use the external monitor.

Could you please share your product model with us?
You mentioned that the external monitor doesn't display during BIOS or recovery environment. Can the external monitor display after entering the system? May I ask how you are connecting the external monitor(ex. HDMI to HDMI)? Thank you.

The laptop is tuf fx505dv and the monitor is a Lenovo d24-40 and i use hdmi to hdmi to connect them.

After confirmation,  it has been determined that the FX505DV only the main screen will be recognized in the BIOS and recovery environment, so there will be no HDMI output to display on an external screen. The above information is provided for your reference. Thank you.
