Hi. I have a new RZG16 device, and I am experiencing disturbing experience with CPU rendered videos on web browsers (i guess). When I use dedicated GPU, there is no problem with colour accuracy or stability. But when I use integrated CPU I have this kind of unpleasant view: (Google Drive Video Link)
I pinched/zoomed in and out to show the problem that i have. You can clearly see the colour changes on both face. The issue is more than that btw. Even when you hovering on video player, or when you simply scrolling down the page, all video content changes/shifting the colors and present unaccuracy.
Also, I didn't see any issue on GPU or on image files on web pages or even local videos that I played. BUT, I am experiencing same issue when I open the exact local videos on the browsers (like Opera or Chrome). I am still examining and looking if I have any other colour imbalance issue across the apps or if I have the issue between app switching.
I saw a topic here, and I can say I have the similar issue and it's really annoying! (And yes, all things all-up-to-date now)
@ST777, did you fixed the issue, or you just decided to return the product or switch? 🙂
Do anyone have any suggestions to fix this?
Thanks 🖖🏻

Hi @ihertekin ,
I would like to confirm if you have tried disabling hardware graphics acceleration in your browser to see if it improves the situation. Additionally, please test with the ASUS-validated Intel graphics driver version V31.0.101.5235 and let us know if this helps. Thank you.

Hi. Thanks for answering the topic.
I tried to downgrade and use the mentioned graphic driver. The problem is still occurring.
I tested switching between apps and windows after I posted my first message, unfortunately I am experiencing the same issue with non-media opened windows too. I think screen aslo has sligtly brightness ups and downs even when I browsing still documents or web pages (without moving even a pixel)
This topic is specific to colour instability, but I am reaching 98-99 Celsius degrees on CPU even when GPU is stay still and reaching max at 78 degree during games. First time when I played and tested several games, I didn't see any overheating in same settings and conditions. I don't know what changed and what is wrong too :))
Also, I am not using anything else beside the Armoury Crate. Any advice or checking suggestions will be helpful, hopefully 🙂

I would like to confirm with you the current version of ASUS System Control Interface v3 that you are using.
Could you please try rolling back to the previous version of ASUS System Control Interface v3 and test if the issue improves? Thank you.

You mentioned that you have submitted an RMA, but you are still experiencing overheating issues. Could you please provide your product serial number, RMA number, and a video or screenshot of the overheating issue via private message? Additionally, please provide the following information for further verification:

No, I wouldn't.
After they handed me my PC, with clean windows installation, which i need to use pro but they installed home single language (with wrong language), the all issues i mentioned was had been resolved.
I requested the exact information about the diagnostics and their treatments, they simply not provided! And I tried to get the info from Asus itself (not outrhorised service) but nothing yet!
The BIOS version was 322/ 23.07.2024. However, the chipset driver was 10.0.22621.3672 - older than the ASUS's suggestion! I reached the ASUS and ask them IF I can use Windows PRO or why they didn't installed any asus softwares (such armoury or my asus). They dont't know!
Yet, after I installed the ASUS softwares, the same issues occured!
Later, i uptaded some drivers from asus suggestions, overheating and between-app colour issues fixed, BUT the media playing issues stayed!
Now, i formatted and re- installed windows pro, and not installed any of asus softwares. Using the same (older than suggested) version of intel driver, with G-Helper, and none of my problems occuring - YET!
Just close this topic, please. If anyting occour again, even within this conditions, i will go consumer arbitration board that we have in Turkey.
Thank you for your efforts🖖
